RVP Instruction Series
The RVP Instruction Players were designed for both coaches and players who want to get an in-depth look at the game’s best players. All of the Instruction Series products walk the user through the specific skill, instructing the user on what to look for, explaining why it is important, and then suggesting analogies and drills to help reinforce the correct moves. The Instruction Series are designed to work both as stand-alone programs as well as system add-ons to the RVP Analysis Systems.
When used as a stand alone program, they enable the user to select and play concise video lessons about specific areas of the motion. When combined with one of the analysis systems, additional hitting or pitching models will be added to the professional library and enable the user to play the instruction clips simultaneously with his/her own motions for a more interactive experience.
Note: The RVP Instruction Series are not standard DVDs or video tapes. They are software programs that contain a whole series of one- to three-minute videos of concise lessons that can be selected for specific areas of the motion. This enables the user to reference the specific information he/she wants to view without having to fast forward or search a disc for the information to be accessed.

The IP300-AS clearly takes the controversy out of hitting by defining the mechanics of hitting with video examples of the game’s best hitters: Alex Rodriguez, Albert Pujols, Ichiro, Miguel Tejada, David Ortiz, Manny Ramirez and many more. Don Slaught, former Major League Player and Coach, walks the user through the analysis of the swing: defining the key principles, explaining why they are important, and illustrating and giving analogies to help players understand and improve. The Ip300-AS contains a series of 59 easy-to-follow video clips, each about one-three minutes long. The lessons begin by defining the 3 measures of the swing (Force, Hittiing in a Big Zone, and Efficiency) and continue by describing all the key principles found in the games best players at each of the key positions from Stance through the Finish. The user will learn what to look for and what to draw and measure at each of the key positions to optimize their swing. Each clip can be selected and played about a specific area of the swing. The Ip300-AS enables players and coaches to identify and understand the cause of any problems, not just the symptoms that happen later on in the swing.

The Ip300-AS can function as a standalone product containing over 90 minutes of instruction broken down into 59 selectable video lessons.
As an Add-on to an RVP Analysis System
When the IP300-AS is added to one of the RVP Analysis Systems (CV300, CE300, or IS300), 15 All-Star players’ swings will also be added to your library of professionals. The video will include all four views of the same swing for each of the All-Stars (Front View, Catchers View, Pitchers View, and Back View).

Lisa Fernandez, one of the greatest softball pitchers of all time, and Kirk Walker, head coach of Oregon State, have teamed up to produce a dynamic series of lessons to define the principles of Fastpitch pitching. The software includes 47 lessons using five models including Alicia Hollowell, Brianne McGowan, Dana Sorensen, Katie Burkhart, and Lisa Fernandez. The key teaching points and the mechanical breakdown go far beyond the pitching style and get right to the root of all great pitchers. Fastpitch pitching revolves around these three measures: Power, Control, and Deception. Kirk and Lisa explain how every pitcher can maximize his/her skills in each of these three measures.

RVP Instruction Player for Softball Hitting

Two of the top softball coaches in the country, Mike Candrea and Sue Enquist, have collaborated on this powerful series of instructional video lessons. This CD-ROM clearly presents the RVP hitting approach, philosophy, and terminology with easy-to-follow examples and helpful lessons from Candrea, U.S. Olympic Head Coach and Head Coach of the University of Arizona and Enquist, 11-time National Champion and former Head Coach of UCLA. Candrea and Enquist explain what they look for and the importance at each key position in the swing, and then provide drills that help reinforce the correct moves. The CD contains more than two hours of interactive content which features the swings of the Women’s Fast Pitch 2004 Olympic Champions Natasha Whatley, Leah O’Brien Amico, Lovieanne Jung, Stacey Nuveman, and Amanda Freed. It will also add 14 clips of these Olympians executing the drills contained on the Ip300-SB. Players and coaches will thoroughly learn how to identify, understand and work on the key principles of the swing.
